David is an experienced corporate real estate executive with proven capability in the telecommunications industry developing property strategies and supporting business cases. He has directly managed the lifecycle of properties from the acquisition of new sites through the design, fit out, operational and disposal phases for many projects across Australia, Asia and Europe. David has extensive experience running facilities management teams, both under in-sourced and outsourced models.
David's telecommunication industry experience commenced after graduation with a technical role in the operations of Telstra, thereafter he progressed to into various senior roles for the bidding and operational management of major outsourcing projects. He later joined global telecommunications organisation SITA as the General Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Subsequently, David was Project Director at Orange Business Services where he was responsible for the consolidation of operational facilities in Europe Middle East, Africa and Australia which was a result of the France Telecom led merger between Equant and Global One. More recently, David was responsible for real estate and facilities management for Orange Business Services's Asia Pacific porfolio. This included managing the acquisition and consolidation of many sites across Asia including some significant offshoring projects in India.
